My husband and I went out to Zocalo in downtown Chicago for a friend's birthday. I decided I wanted to create a look that was more dramatic than usual. I saw this dark green tutorial by MissChievous earlier and decided to put my own spin on it. Hope you guys like!

Whenever I start out wanting to create a simple, natural look, I always end up adding a bolder element. Here we have this great red lip. Not so great for school later--where I'll be meeting my ultra conservative Cog-psy professor for the first time-- but still great! :)

FOTD - Summer Princess

Friday was "Prince and Princess Day" at my preschool. Yes. This is a thing. 

I was told on thursday to dress up Princess-like, but seeing as how I don't have very many princess-y dresses (and I don't exactly want to wear my best in the infant room) I decided instead to come up with some Princess makeup.

FOTD - Window Shopper

This was a quick Face of the Day. My husband and I went to check out computers since my laptop seems to be spiraling down now. It's had a heating problem for a while and now the fan stopped working, which I guess you could say made the problem worse.
