FOTD - 80's Makeup

Last Saturday, my sister threw her husband an 80's themed surprise birthday party. She went all out; piles of candy, black lights, rubics cube cake, ultimate 80's cds and records.

I didn't have any "80's clothing" so I decided to do something wild with my makeup, instead.

Voila:

It took a while to get my hair to stay up like this. I don't usually style it so high and with it being a bit on the short side, it took quite a few bobby pins.

I tried to create two different gradients on my eyes. On the top lid, peach to hot pink. On the bottom, blue to green.

I first tried a lighter pink, but thought the darker one was a bit more out there.

Here's a look I wore for a date night with the husband. I tried winging out my eyeshadow more than usual to create a more dramatic eye. Hope you don't mind the messy hair, I hadn't gotten started on that!

Yet another FOTD! I recently purchased MAC's Rubenesque paint pot (review to come later) after months of drooling over it. I used it today in this look I wore to school. Hope you guys like!

FOTD - Sweet Gold

Here's a look I wore for going out with my hubby. I decided to put a spin on my usual goldy look by adding some cranberry to it. I didn't take pictures until much later on in the day, so the pictures don't quite do it justice. I may redo this one down the line, because I loved how it turned out. :)
