Someday Soon

I've been so drained lately from school and work that I haven't had time to sit down and write. I have a lot of future posts in mind, but it'll be another week or so before I have time.

For now, I thought I'd write this update post on how things are going for me, beautywise.

I'm getting closer to finalizing the trip to LA for IMATS. I'm so excited! It'll be, not only my first time going to IMATS, but my first time in California!

Also, I signed up for Birchbox. I'll be getting my first one in March, which is apparently going to be the "Teen Vogue" box. From what I've read, it seems like an impressive service so here's hoping I'll enjoy the service!

Camera Misbehavin'

Happy Valentine's Week! Let's be real..not everyone celebrates on Tuesday! My hubby and I will be celebrating next Saturday :) I know some of you are put off of Valentine's day because of it being a "Hallmark Holiday," but I like to celebrate it just as a reminder to do something extra nice with your significant other. I think all couples could use a reminder to go all out, once in a while. In fact, why not just call it "Love Appreciation Week"? I could go for that one..

Anywho, I had a FOTD all prepared for that day but..I have no camera charger. It seems to have gotten lost in this pile of boxes I have downstairs. That won't be fun to find. So, until I get a new one, you guys will have to deal with phone camera pictures. I hope you don't mind!

The picture of the Valentine's FOTD is not so great, though, so I'm planning on re-creating that one later. For now, enjoy this picture I made for the MyGlam February bag!

FOTD - Natural Look

I'm trying out the '365' challenge. Basically you take a picture every day for a year. I set an alarm as a reminder, because without that I doubt I'd remember haha.

FOTD - Dusky Champagne

I decided to try out my new Maybelline Color Tattoo eyeshadow today, but the results were a little unexpected, haha.

What I mean is that the end result does not look purple at all. I started mixing colors in before planning anything out, but I'm very pleased with the result!

There's just the slightest hint of the purple left haha, but it's there!

Maybelline Haul

I'm not much of a 'haul' person, but I did want to post this particular one because I've been hunting these products down for A WHILE. So it was pretty exciting to finally have them in my hands! *cue maniacal laugh*

But seriously..these Maybelline Color Tattoos have been sold out nearly everywhere. I'll give a review on them later, when I've used them a few times. So far, they're pretty long-lasting. Haha this is from the fact that the swatches have been a little hard to wash off from just a few minutes of wear time!













The colors I got are Painted Purple and Audacious Asphalt. They are absolutely gorgeous and I can't wait to use them! I still have a few others to hunt down, but I have these to play with for now. :)
