Urban Decay - 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil in "Zero" (not pictured)
Urban Decay's 24/7 pencils are hands-down the BEST pencil eyeliners I own. Although I do wish ipsy would've given out different colors. I have quite a few backups of the black one, because UD tends to include this one in their palettes.

MAI Couture - Highlighter Papier
I'm a bit skeptical about how well this highlighter paper will work, but I'm excited to try it out. I really wish I'd been a subscriber for ipsy's first bag to receive the paper blush! There are a few drugstore brands coming out with similar multitasking wipes or "papers," so it's pretty exciting to finally get to try this out.

NYX - Loose Pearl Eyeshadow in "Mocha Pearl"
It's funny that I received this sample this month, because I'd actually been looking into NYX's loose eyeshadow lately. This one may be a bit dark for me, but I've yet to try it out. We'll see how this one works out!

Bombshell - lip gloss in "Hot Mess"
Bombshell's "Hot Mess" didn't quite work out for me and, no, I'm not going to be making a joke about it being a hot mess. The red was a bit off on my skin tone, but it's still a nice red! I'll be giving this away to my friend.

Mirabella - Primer, face and eyes
I haven't tried this out, but I have been looking for a new primer. Good timing there, ipsy!

**Special Extra: Urban Decay - Naked Skin beauty balm

I feel pretty special to have been included within those who received this sample. So first off, thanks ipsy!!

The UD beauty balm felt lightweight on my skin, unlike the beauty balms I currently own. It doesn't have too strong of a scent, which I am happy about. I'm not sure how well it would interact with my skin longterm, because it was a pretty small sample for only a few uses. After having used it once, my skin does feel pretty soft. My one complaint is that the balm does contain some tint. While for me the tint was unnoticeable, it may be noticeable on those with lighter skin tones, however the tint was pretty sheer so this may not be a problem. The Naked Skin beauty balm won't be coming out until early 2013, so look out for it on Urbandecay.com and Sephoras near you.

The ipsy team seems dedicated on improving the quality of the bags themselves, as well. Check out the inside of December's bag! How cute!
